A network for K-12 teachers across the globe to find partners within a project-based learning environment. With member classrooms in over 200 countries, this is a very popular learning enviornnment. An added bonus includes the ability to secure free, safe, student email accounts.

As social network for those interested in Web 2.0 and Social Media in education, this NING allows members to create their own pages, as well as contribute to discussions on just about everything related to education and technology.

A site for teachers around the globe to collaborate, featuring a Projects Registry to find and post content based collaborative learning projects.
**Global Virtual Classroom**

The GVC vision is to empower, enable and connect students around the world using Internet technology. It provides students with a stimulating, positive and enjoyable environment along with the opportunity to develop skills that are essential in the 21st century: cross-cultural communication, collaboration through teamwork, information technology and website design. The main focus of GVC is an annual competition, complete with prizes.

An award winning project originating at Ein Ganim Elementary School in Petach Tikva, Israel designed to promote collaboration among students in classrooms around the world through projects.
